Laura Inserra is a sound alchemist - a world-renowned leader in sound healing, teacher, technician of the sacred, and multimedia producer - with over 25 years of experience in creating and facilitating immersive music environments, sound healing sessions, and transformative leadership programs. She lives and creates at the confluence of music from around the globe, ancient wisdom traditions, and cutting-edge technology.

Both a self-taught and classically trained musician, Laura plays dozen rare ancient and modern instruments from around the world, as well as many made by her. She composes in various musical languages and performs in many different settings — from intimate spaces to large venues seating thousands.

She utilizes cutting-edge technology to augment the natural sources of her instruments, creating Chambers of AWE - immersive music environments designed to enhance profound sates of relaxation, deepen our relationship with nature, and facilitate inner transformation and wellbeing.

Combining her intimate knowledge of music with her studies of ancient schools of wisdom, she developed a practice called MetaMusic Healing, a unique of sound healing, spiritual practices, and shamanic techniques. In her practice music becomes experiential, personalized medicine, and a metaphor of life. Her work was recently highlighted in the NYT bestseller book Your ‘Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us’ by Ivy Ross and Susan Magsamen.

As a program facilitator, she uses her expertise in sound, wisdom traditions, and cutting-edge technology to design and deliver awe-inducing experiences that enhance wellbeing, creativity, and collaboration. She works with senior executive teams of leading public and private companies - e.g. Google X, Walmart, Synergos - as well as with global conferences and summits on topics such as brain science, psychedelic research, music medicine, and spirituality - e.g. BrainMind, MAPS, Wisdom 2.0, Intentional Spaces, TransTech, SAND, Ethereum Foundation’s DevCon.
