Bio:

Stanford and Harvard trained Physician-Scientist, innovator and investor with over 25 years of clinical, research, biotechnology, and entrepreneurial experience. Founder and chair of NextMed Health (formerly Exponential Medicine) and Faculty Chair of Medicine for Singularity University. Fellow of the Aspen Institute, Health Innovators Fellowship.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Harvard Combined Residency Program at MGH & Boston Children's Hospital) and completed fellowships in hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplantation at Stanford. Post-doctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Irv Weissman followed by NIH-funded faculty position at Stanford. Multiple publications & patents through faculty positions at Stanford Medical School and UCSF (clinical faculty: Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation).
